Laura Christensen is a visual artist who works with found vintage photographs, paint, and wood.
Galleries and museums, including Bennington Museum, M.A. Doran Gallery, Tweed Museum of Art, Brattleboro Museum and Arts Center, and The Albany Airport have featured her work. In 2017, she exhibited at The Arts Center of the Capital Region in Troy, NY, and at Simmons College in Boston, MA.
She recently won her second Artists’ Resource Trust (A.R.T.) Grant, a fund of the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation and her second Individual Artist Grant, a fund of the Cultural Council of Northern Berkshire, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Christensen’s work is held in numerous private collections.
Laura is a full-time professional artist living and working in Western Massachusetts.
