Construct Designer Showhouse, June 2024

In June 2024, a month-long ticketed event aims to raise awareness and support for Construct’s initiative to convert Cassilis Farm estate in New Marlborough, MA, into eleven affordable housing units for Berkshire families and workers. The Designer Showhouse features the work of a dozen designers and several artists assigned to various estate spaces, interpreting the theme “Nature in the Berkshires.”

CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGNS

I’m so honored to have counseled the creators, farmers, innovators, and non-profits who have run some spectacular crowdfunding campaigns!

Check out a few recent campaigns below, and learn how I can help you crowdfund your project!

Red Shirt Farm launched a Patronicity campaign to pump life into the heart of their new farm store and community kitchen. They raised over $20,000 that was matched 2:1 by the Biz-M-Power grant program in Spring 2023.

Dierdre Horan launched a Kickstarter campaign to create durable and environmentally sustainable umbrellas from recycled ocean bound plastic. Dri Umbrellas fully funded within an hour of going live and raised almost $30,000 in May of 2023.

Artist Tsar Fedorsky and poet Marc Zegans are creating a limited edition fine art photo book–Stone, Ghost, Life: Presence, Absence and Ephemeral Connection. They raised over $10,000 in Spring of 2023.

Berkshire Agricultural Ventures raised funds to double SNAP benefits at local farmers markets. The funds will boost sales for farmers and increase food security. This campaign ran on FundRazr in March 2023.
